AGP 4X Drive Strength
Common Options : Auto, Manual
Details
This BIOS feature is similar to AGP
Driving Control, which allows you to set whether the AGP
driving strength should be controlled by the chipset or manually
configured. It is usually set to Auto by default, thereby
allowing the chipset to assume control and automatically adjust the
AGP driving strength to suit the installed AGP card.
However, for troubleshooting or overclocking purposes, you can
set the AGP 4X Drive Strength to Manual to allow the
manipulation of AGP Drive Strength values via the
AGP Drive Strength P or N Ctrl
BIOS feature.
Note that unlike AGP
Driving Control, this feature usually has two to
four different drive strength controls slaved to it. In contrast,
AGP
Driving Control usually comes with only a single control for AGP
drive strength.
