In the overall 3DMark 99 Max result, the cache latency of 14 scored the highest again while the cache latency of 13 scored, well, not the lowest this time but close enough at the second lowest place. The poorest performer was the cache latency of 12. However, the difference between the highest and the lowest performer was only 73 3DMarks or 1.7%.

The spread of the cache latencies were pretty much mixed up with no evident pattern. One would have expected the L2 cache latency of 1 to score the highest but it turned up close to the bottom of the list. On the other hand, the cache latency of 15, which theoretically should score the poorest of all, ended up well above the average, which is 4425 3DMarks.

In this synthetic benchmark of the processor's 3D processing capability, things turned out quite differently. The fastest performer was now the cache latency of 4 while the slowest was 8. The cache latency of 13 was now the third poorest performer while the cache latency of 14 performed only averagely. The difference between the highest and the lowest scores was only 54 CPU 3DMarks or 1.1%.

Again, the results were so random that there's no evident pattern here. Both cache latencies of 1 and 15, which theoretically should be at opposite ends of the pole, ended up pretty close to each other at the centre line of 4990 CPU 3DMarks.
