| Advantages
This thermometer doesn't take up CPU resources or memory like monitoring
utilities like Motherboard Monitor or Hmonitor do. And you can
check the temperature reading while playing games without needing
to exit to the Windows desktop.
For hardcore overclockers, the thermal probe can
be submerged into water to monitor the water temperature. For peltier
users, it will measure sub-zero temperature down to -40°C. If the
temperature goes below -40°C, it will display 'LLL' to indicate
that the thermometer is unable to read below -40°C.

Any cooler and even the electrons will freeze!
;)
Likewise, if the
temperature goes above 90°C, it will display 'HHH'. The
temperature range covered, however, is perfect for PC users. Your processor
is not expected to work above 90°C or below -40°C. You
can place the probe on almost anything inside the casing including
the video
card, motherboard chipset, hard disk or even outside the casing to
monitor the room temperature.
Disadvantages
This thermometer has a few flaws. Things like an on/off switch
should have been included to prolong battery life or a Molex
connector to connect to the PC's power supply directly. After all,
this thermometer is designed for use with the PC.
In addition, it only has a single probe to monitor an item and you
will need to buy another thermometer
to monitor another component. And it does not read the temperature
in Fahrenheit although modifications can be done to enable it to
display in °F.

Celcius only readout
It's a little too expensive, costing around RM 53 (US$14) after bargaining. It's
also not easy to find
in Malaysia. There are only a few shops carrying the product in Low
Yatt Plaza so you will need to do a little hunting.
