Created by Kyle from HardOCP, the Ratpadz Mousing Surface is a large, black, hard plastic board. The secret behind this mouse pad is the Ultraslick™ polymer surface, which allows much smoother mouse movements, even with badly worn feet on your mouse.

This thing measures about 9.5 inches (24 cm) tall X 11.5 inches (29 cm) wide.

Features

Before I started using the optical mouse, I tried many free mouse pads with my mechanical mouse. But I noticed that either the feet under the mouse wears off fast or the mouse pad just won't stay on the desk, sliding everywhere across the desk. Now with the Ratpadz Mousing Surface, all those problems have been cured. Ratpadz has 9 rubber feet at the bottom to make sure that the pad won't move even an inch!

Ratpadz is optical mouse compatible because of its black surface, unlike Everglide's Attack Pad. This thing really does wonders, even for an optical mouse, but don't expect miracles. Because of the plain coloured Ultraslick™ polymer surface, it actually helps the optical sensor track the surface better. If you are an optical mouse user, you should know that picture-decorated mouse pads won't work well with optical mouse.
