PDA Panache Trio-1 Triple Function Stylus

Nothing's Perfect

The HP Jornada 545 I own is no doubt one of the best and most elegant Pocket PC ever designed. It's sleek, sexy and professional. If there's anything that brings this Pocket PC down to earth, it's the 12-bit display, CSTN screen, AND... in my opinion, the flimsy stylus.

I know there are people who like the HP stylus. I, too, initially liked the stylus. It was simple, slim and yet very usable. But as time passed, the stylus no longer fitted snugly into its holder under the protective cover of the Jornada 545. I knew then that it was time to get an alternative stylus.

But what about other Pocket PC users; or even Palm users? Since some of the other PDAs come with a well-designed stylus, do they still need an alternative stylus? Well, in my opinion...yes, especially if it's the PDA Panache Trio-1 Triple Function Stylus. Hmm... Why the PDA Panache Trio-1? I agree that there are other more alternative styli out there but read on to find out why I prefer this particular stylus.

Let's say you're in a position where you need to fill in a form with information from your PDA. You'll need a pen or pencil along with your stylus. Wouldn't it be difficult to constantly switch between the pen and the stylus? That's exactly how the Trio-1 Triple Function Stylus can help you.

No prizes for guessing which is the Trio-1 stylus! :)

I agree with Ken. That's why we purchased the same stylus together. It's especially important for me to have an alternative stylus because I'm currently residing in India. If I happen to lose the stylus that came with my Casio E-125, a replacement stylus would be next to impossible to get here.

The nearest city where I can find a store selling a Casio Pocket PC is in Bangalore. However, they only sell the very old Casio E-105 which is actually priced higher than a Casio E-125 in Malaysia! Chances of getting a replacement stylus for the Casio E-125 would be extremely remote or prohibitively expensive. Hence, getting an alternative stylus makes a lot of sense.
