It is recommended that you read the instruction properly, or else you might not get the maximum slickness out of the Mouse Skatez.

The instructions are pretty simple. Before applying Mouse Skatez, you need to clean the mouse feet using the included alcohol swab. This process is very important because you need a good bonding surface on the mouse feet.

Take a look at the picture below of my IntelliMouse Optical. The feet are badly worn out and dirty. If you want make sure your Mouse Skatez sticks on the mouse feet without coming off anytime soon, clean it.
