Dockers Mobile Pant

Appearances

On the outside, the Mobile Pant looks just like any other pair of Dockers Khakis. With two pockets at the side and two more at the back (Actually, I've always wondered if anyone actually use those pockets? How are you supposed to sit with stuff in them???). The cloth is supposedly Teflon-coated so liquids will bead off the material instead of being absorbed into it. This feature is vital for ANY piece of clothing that was intended to carry mobile devices. Gadgets and water don't mix well!

The pockets have a meshed surface on one side. So, in practice, the LCD screens of your mobile devices should be facing this side because the mesh is less likely to scratch your screen. The other side feels kinda rough.

The meshed side of the pocket

Of course, the most important features of the Mobile Pant are the hidden pockets. They turn what is essentially a standard pair of Dockers Khakis into the Dockers Mobile Pant. There are two such pockets - one below the right side pocket and one behind the left side pocket.

The pockets use a zipper to close up into a seam. So, unless someone manages to see the zipper head, no one would even suspect that there's a pocket there. However, the placement of the pockets is what makes them less then ideal to carry mobile devices.
