CPU Cooler Roundup

Test Results

Here are the results from my tests. First, unlike other roundups, I won't be posting the idle temperature because :-

  1. All the coolers remains at about the same temperature when the processor is idle (0% usage).

  2. Even if cooler A cools better than cooler B at idle, I don't think this is as important as its performance at maximum load.

  3. It takes very long for the heatsinks to cool down.

So, all the results listed here are at maximum load only. These coolers were tested in just 10 minutes. Unlike AMD processors, Intel processors have an on-die temperature sensor. So, the temperature readings change instantly when as the processor heats up. The heatsinks of most coolers here take less than five minutes to reach maximum load temperature.

BTW, I didn't add the FOP38 result because I didn't have one with me during my tests.
