You have not "rebutted" any of my comments, period. And you are more than welcome to "contact" the jerk "John Navas".

This whole "interaction" started with YOUR blatantly ignorant "review" of the HighPoint IDE driver. It went from there to YOUR ignorant "benchmarks" and then to your equally ignorant "system setup" and benchmark results.

The initial point that I made was that YOU did not understand ANYTHING about the HighPoint IDE driver, period. I then had to attack your "benchmarks" as they were also absurd. Your "readers" obviously also, for the vast majority, do not understand benchmarks nor how to properly set up their systems.

I have MORE than adequately rebutted your comments about the HighPoint IDE driver as well as your
absurd benchmark results. This is VERY apparent from my replies. That you are both ignorant as well as "publish" ERRONEOUS results is also VERY apparent to anyone who reads our "interaction".
This is what I set out to accomplish in the first place.

You have blatantly "misused" the HighPoint IDE driver. Your benchmark "results" are also blatantly substandard, despite your pitiful denials. That YOU can't "see" this is no surprise! But ANYONE with any knowledge and an OPEN MIND will see YOUR ERRORS!

Why don't you just GO AWAY instead of "publishing" such trash?!?

Well, I think there are two ways to handle a troll like Jim.

First, we can choose to ignore him and his post. Sooner or later, he will get tired of posting nonsense that no one reads or comments about. That will probably test the patience of many writers and visitors to the newsgroups and websites but just imagine the humiliation a troll like Jim Navas must feel when no one seems to care about what he writes.

Alternatively, you can also choose to flame him until he goes away, which I gather is what most people do. However, this may be just what he wants. I guess he didn't get much attention growing up and now, he finds that he is able to get all the attention he wants by behaving outrageously online. So, if you really want to hurt him, keeping mum and ignoring all his posts might be the best way.

In any case, I believe it's best to spread the word around so that everyone knows who Jim Navas is. That way, we can ignore or flame him as the pariah he chose to be.

If you have had the dubious pleasure of meeting Jim Navas online or receiving his infamous letters, please contact me and tell me all about it or your opinion of Jim. I'll post your comments in the Comments pages of this article. Because Jim has failed to show any sign of decency, I will relax the rules a little and allow anything and everything in your comments about Jim (only in this article).
