Quick Access In Windows 2000

 






Start Menu For Current User
  1. For quick access to the Start Menu listing for the current user only, right-click on the Start Menu.
     
  2. On the menu that pops up, select Explore.

 

  1. A new window will open up instantly, showing the Start Menu.

 

  1. You can now explore and make changes to the shortcuts shown in your Start Menu.

 

 

Notes

  • Any changes you make here will only affect the current user. If you log in as another person, those changes won't be manifested.
     
  • If you only want to change shortcuts for all users, then try the Quick Access To Start Menu For All Users tip!
