How To Configure Your Explorer Shortcut

 






Main Drive With Folders Bar
  1. Right-click on the Windows Explorer shortcut and select Properties.
     
  2. The following screen pops up :-

  1. In the Target box, just add /e to the target path (as shown below).

  1. Now, click OK and then try out the shortcut.
     
  2. Windows Explorer should now show the contents of the main directory of your Windows 2000 drive with the folders bar visible on the left.

 

 

Notes
  • You can also create this effect by creating a shortcut to Explorer.scf which is normally found in the drive:\WINNT\ directory.
