Mouse Moving In Spurts?

Are you having accuracy problems with your mouse? Is your mouse moving in spurts and not as smoothly as you would really prefer it to be? Well, here's the culprit :-

In an effort to improve your turn rate in FPS games or just to lessen the amount of movement of your hand, you have probably set the mouse pointer movement speed to Fast. Love the amount of pointer travel with each flick of your hand? Unfortunately, you will have to live with a less accurate mouse because the mouse's accuracy drops as the pointer speed goes up.

If you work on graphics or do other work that requires pixel-level accuracy, nothing irritates more than moving the pointer 4 pixels when you were only trying to move it 1 pixel farther. So, how do you get the accuracy you need but still get some boost in pointer speed?
