- You will also have to remove a certain white ribbon cable first.
As you can see in the picture below, it has a blue tip which
is locked in by a brown clip.
|

- The clip is rather delicate so it's advisable to use the tip
of the screwdriver to gently push it out (as shown below).
- Once it's loose, you can disconnect the white ribbon cable.
Important Notes
- The ribbon cable supplies power to the backlight of the
touch screen.
- Therefore, be very careful when disconnecting or reattaching
the ribbon cable.
- If the ribbon cable or the clip is damaged, the backlight
will not work!
- So, do NOT use any forceps or pliers to hold it or pull it.
Doing so may tear the delicate wires inside the cable.
- In addition, make
sure you don't bend or twist the ribbon cable during its removal or insertion.
- It's highly recommended that you use the tip of the
screwdriver to push out the brown clip and then gently pull
out the ribbon cable.
|

- Now, flip the back cover over the PCB and then flip both the
back cover and the PCB to the right. Your E-125 will appear as
below.
