Overclocking The E-125
Actually, the overclocking procedure explained in this guide
was developed by Fayle.
I merely followed his instructions. So, this guide is more like a
step-by-step explanation of how I overclocked my Casio E-125.
Hopefully, it will prove to be a useful guide to those who are
hoping to overclock the E-125.

Well, ready? Here we go! :)
- First, back up all your data using ActiveSync or the
CompactFlash backup utility. Better still, make two backup
copies - one on the host computer and another on a
CompactFlash card.
- You might also want to run a benchmark beforehand to make it
easier for you to check if your overclocking is successful
later. We highly recommend using the GAPI
Benchmark 2.0.
- Once that's done, turn the E-125 over. Between E-125's two
battery covers, there's a battery lock switch. Flip the switch to MAIN. This will unlock the main
battery cover.
- Now, remove the main battery cover. You will now see the
JK-210LT main battery pack (as shown on the right).
- Pull the plastic tab out. This will make the main battery
pack pop out.

 |
- Next, flip the battery lock switch to BACK UP. This
unlocks the backup battery cover.
- Use the tip of a fingernail to pry the cover open or just
shake it loose. The CR2032 backup battery will be exposed.
- Pry the backup battery loose using the tip of a pen and remove
it. Note that doing so will completely erase all the E-125's
memory contents so make very sure you have made viable backups
of your data before removing the backup battery.
- You should now remove the stylus. The picture below shows the
E-125 with the stylus and both batteries removed.
