SDRAM DIMMs

  






Let's take a look at the various SDRAM DIMMs that have come my way.

64MB Samsung PC100 SDRAM DIMM (Single Sided) with 8ns GL chips

 

128MB Hitachi PC100 SDRAM DIMM (Double Sided) with what are apparently 6ns chips. However, they are in fact 8ns chips which I have tested and found to be stable at up to 112MHz @ CAS2.

 

128MB ACE PC100 SDRAM DIMM (Double Sided) with 8ns chips

This ACE SDRAM DIMM is a 1st party SDRAM DIMM manufactured entirely by EC-Asia International of Singapore. I didn't have much hope for its overclockability because it is a relatively unknown brand.
